For some time I had been considering taking out the grass in my sizable backyard but I was concerned about how the yard would look minus grass. Initially, I received bids from two companies for the work and after the second bid I was very discouraged. The company owners were not listening to what I wanted in the redesign and offered me weak ideas at best. By the time I got to the third bid—Blue Oak Landscaping—I had about given up on the backyard project. But Ben (the owner of Blue Oak Landscaping) refreshed my excitement about the project the first time we met. He listened carefully to what I wanted and worked with me to redesign my backyard to include all the elements that were important to me. His insights were extremely helpful and he had amazing ideas that brought such uniqueness to the design. Now what I have is a peaceful and serene oasis that reminds me of a beautiful park but with significantly less water use than I had with grass. Bernie (who supervised the work on my yard) is an absolute master at stonework design. My stone pathways, patios, and flower beds are stunning. Felix worked wonders with a new irrigation system. Every one of Ben’s employees was professional and hard working—a pleasure to have around. I was so happy with the work they did that I came up with additional projects for them and have more in mind. Prior to this redesign I rarely used my backyard and now I spend part of every day enjoying it and sharing it with friends. Blue Oak Landscaping is simply the best! I have nothing but good things to say about them.

You and your crew transformed my lived in yard into an oasis more than I could have imagined from the dry creek bed to the decorative wall in front yard. To the pergola in the back yard. What you did with my stepping stones for back path and patio recycling worked beautifully. Love my plants I will have color year around. New drip system is great. The crew you have work so well together and always willing to listen. Now the yard is finished I will miss everyone. Will look forward to my quarterly maintenance program. Thank you is not a big enough words!!! OMG.
